| all I did was hit that red X and eliminate the post I had just written.Aw that couldnt have taken out the entire thread,could it?

Carol, it's only one thread and I think we can manage living without it. We're quite grateful you haven't taken down the whole board yet.

Eliminating a post should not affect the whole thread.
What is even weirder is that date on the main page. Where did THAT come from????

| its the first and only time Ive ever hit the red X and the last,I have to hit submit a total on ten times before a posts goes thru,I have to log in dispite my checking the box to have me logged in automatically etc. No one else is complaining so it must be how Im registered.To the extreame right it says HTML is ON ,under my post is a box with a check saying Disable HTML in this post. I click it blank and with each post it comes back in. I dont know I just go with the flow.

There are other problems also. One of the ufo threads is now under forum announcememts.

I did see the 1969 date. However, it seems to now have corrected itself. I do not see any UFO threads under Forum Announcements - unless you count the one that has careened so far off the original topic, I don't know where it belongs. Since all we have is anecdotal evidence, I am going to chalk this all up as an episode of swamp gas.
