Well, I am among the first to snicker when people start talking about finding little scoop marks in their skin - allegedly the work of aliens with a cosmic Dremel tool. Well, who said the universe doesn't have a sense of humor? I find myself this morning with a pair of matching abrasions on both elbows - and I have no conscious recollection of having done anything by which to have received these injuries. Both of them are about the size of a pea on the exact same spot on the outside tip of the elbow joint. It's like I had put my elbows down on a tabletop made out of sandpaper.
Well, I'm pretty sure I wasn't abducted, but I'm still curious how the injuries came about. Man, if the Zeta Reticulans need stem cells, all they had to do was ask...

You probably were leaning on something and just forgot about it or was working on something and didn't feel it at the time. _________________ "Some say the valley has always been haunted ever since River ran.

Undoubtedly you are right, Doc. It just goes to show that just because you have some funny marks or scratches on your body, that is no reason to assume that extraterrestrial shenanigans are afoot.
As it is, the only thing out of the ordinary I did was meet a friend for a drink after work one night. Might have been something sharp or abrasive on the tabletop that I was sitting at. I still think it's weird that they didn't start hurting until much later - and then the right elbow started hurting several hours before the left one did.
Well, I'll keep you posted. If any leaves show up in my bed, then I may have to re-think the possibility that I got dragged off to a spaceship.
