I've never been much of a fan of UFO Hunters on History Channel (or its clone on SciFi Channel). However, I may tune in for an upcoming episode that looks at the 1964 UFO landing in Socorro, New Mexico:

I was just going to ask about Lonnie Zammaro,hes still alive eh,thats good.I remember reading a bit of how the late Phil Klass went to Sorrocco um,two years after the incident and wrote in his so called report," I went to the area where this all took place,I didnt see a thing",it was the single worst bit of so called investigation Id ever read of.Can you imagine,theres exactly one witness Lonnie Zammaro and Klass decides hes not going to interview him,it was a terrible piece of investigation for sure.

Zamora saw something but, in this case, I doubt it was alien. There's a very good chance that what he saw was some kind of test of a prototype (official or otherwise) of a Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) later to be used on Apollo moon flights. Of course, no one has come forward with information on such a test flight but, if it was done by a private aerospace firm (perhaps Hughes as suggested by The UFO Iconoclasts), we probably never would hear about it.

It would be interesting to have Zamora check out the videos on the website for Armadillo Aerospace and get his reaction. Check them out here:

you know SKep,I can easily understand our government wanting to keep hush about lets say a stealth bomber,but a luner lander?? Look at all the furor that was caused that could have easily been quieted had they come forward and simply said they were testing a new lunar lander,or a new prototype something or other,seems to me by their keeping quiet they caused more harm than good.

Carol, you know the government does not have to have a good reason for wanting to keep something secret. That is their default position - they reveal only what is expedient to reveal, especially when you're locked in a space race with the Ruskies.

hm,well now thats odd,this piece doesnt say a thing about small beings being seen outside the craft.Its my recollection that Zamora came upon this craft when the two occupants of that craft looked up and saw him they jumped back in and flew off.Yet this particular article doesnt mention those beings.

Interesting old case but once again a waste of time to rehash it for the umpteenth time.
Going over old cases will not help us to solve the mystery as it stands today.

Yes your right Dr.Wu but have you noticed something,like how uninteresting the new cases are? Instead of them being fresh fodder there just not as interesting for some reason.

what? Are you saying that Vallee has in his possession ufo reports he hasnt shared in any of his zillion books? I wonder why,cripes he could change the name even the sex of the person if he wants to protect them but to keep these cases to himself seems incredible to me.

well now thats interesting,but hes only human and us humans have a life span,I wonder if hes going to will these cases to whats left of NIDS?
