I start this thread with that film because I find it very interesting.I think that levitation is real.Ofcourse there are many triks out there and can be reproduced very easily.There are many things to find out about the power of mind,about ''CHI'' and so on.

Ken,have you ever seen the show in Las Vegas of Sigfried and Roy? They dont perform anymore because Roy was bitten on the neck by one of his tigers who was actually trying to carry him off the stage,the result was such a loss of blood that Roy suffered a stroke.But in 2000 we saw there performance and in that performace was a mind boggling stunt Ill never forget. Roy swung out over the audience,as he passed overhead I looked right into his eyes,no kidding I did. Before his feet touched down on stage or a split second afterwards he came walking out of the left side of the stage.The entire audience just gasped at this slight of hand,someone said it was done with mirrors,I dont know how he did it but it is in the end a trick.
It's interesting that the far east , Asia, and India are full of psychics, spiritual gurus and others who have allegedly performed mystical feats,yet the incidence of these kind of events and people are few and far between in the western world.

I heard about that incident with Sigfried and Roy.I also know that there are many kind of amazing magical tricks out there but this doesn't mean that it doesn't exist real magical force made by the power of min.Perhaps you heard about Nina Kulagina.

Genuine! Uri Geller is not the only one who can bend spoons.There are a lot of people out there who can do that too,even children.Its not a secret anymore

I was curious about your opinion of him.
I have read his autobio and one about him by Puharich a ,friend of his.
He has always interested me (since 1969) because he claims his 'powers' come from aliens called HOOVA that used to be in orbit around the earth. Geller has seen ufos many times and those in his company have also from time to time.

I read that Uri Geller claims to have gained his 'powers' after being hit by a strange light from the sky, which is quite a Damascene image.
Colin Wilson touched on his freindship with Purarich and the experiences with UFO's. As I understand it, while Puharich was anxious to investigate and go deeper into the whole UFO field, Geller began to distance himself from both the man and the issue.
I'm not sure what I think about Uri Geller, I tend to think he is a man who may have genuine psi abilities but also a streak of showmanship which sometimes puts him under pressure to come up with the goods and leads him to be less than honest at times.

In his autobio Geller says as a little boy while playing n his back yard a sphere of light zapped him and since that time he has had his powers. Many years later working with Puharich they discovered through paranormal means (voices on a tape recorder I think..EVP) that his gift was from an alien intelligence orbiting earth that called itself HOOVA. He has seen ufos his whole life and some people in his company at various times have also seen them.
People have seen many strange things while with him....ojects vanishing and reappearing, ufos, metal bending, watches starting and stopping, etc.
I have always thought that something paranomal did happen to him and that paranormal events happen around him but once again was it space aliens or something else?

I can't help but think that Geller is an illusionist. As for the shaman in the original video, I tend to think that is some kind of a trick as well. Take a look at this video from Chris Angel's TV show MindFreak:
To me, this illusion is more impressive - multiple cameras in broad daylight. Regardless, I think it's clear that there is no magic and no mysterious force at work. Just some extremely clever folks who know how to fool the human sensory equipment.

Chris Angel really does do some freaky stuff. There is another guy, David Blaine, who used to do a pretty interesting levitation trick - and he would do it on the street with no apparent props. You may have heard of Blaine recently - he set the world's record for holding his breath (seriously!) - 17 minutes and 4 seconds. That, in itself, is pretty unbelievable.
