I'm not altogether sure yet how I feel about this Community Chest. Yes, it would be great if people could contribute a little to help us get some extras for the forum, but I really do want D47 to remain as "free" an experience as possible.

I decided to opt us out of the Community Chest program. The reason for that is that all of the "rewards" from the program are pretty much designed to put more money into the pockets of our hosting service. If any of our posters are going to donate money to D47, I would much rather that money go to things that actually have some meaning to our community.

Hmmm, that is an interesting idea - if we would decide to raise money for a UFO/paranormal related cause, what recommendations would you have? Any ideas?
