I think we are all "common"in that all of this is far beyond anyone's ability to encapsulate it. There are a handful, if that look at the effects..... I think we are about to undergo a huge shift in the evolution of our species but things are darkest before dawn. I think most people get this on a instinctual basis but color it according to their assumptions. Someone said truth is like a colorless liquid that takes on the color of it's container.So then you get these arguments my container knows more than yours which is silly...alot of this is posturing....rather than any sort of real dialog....which is unfortunate....when topics wander off of the UFO itself into related subjects like context....then things become interesting....I have heard the same circular arguments going on for nearly four decades.... I have moved beyond them...reality is not an edict or a court of law, but some really believe this can be held in place with a empirical vice...so they can dissect it....all I can say is good luck......

I've mentioned a time or two that these entities may be here to observe an evolutionary leap we are about to take. Personally, I think this evolutionary step is merger with or replacement by the machines we have created.
If you have any doubts about this, check out the latest edition of Popular Science, featuring an article on the development of advanced exoskeletons for human beings. They will make us stronger, faster, bulletproof. This is the beginning. Homo Mechanicus is coming - have no doubt.

You review is understandable, someone once said that the machine age began with the idea of machines as extensions of our selves and then we became extensions of them. I think the symbology of the UFO taking on the appearance of a machine is no accident..however I see it from the opposite side of the coin, in that I see it as deconstructing the philosophy of western science, that it intentionally defies our conceptual models which is why these sciences are in denial as to their existence. A sentient universe and not a mechanical one is what I suspect is at the end of this yellow brick road. The idea of a synthetic world of constants flies in the face of our organic nature which has had dire results anyone can verify. I think it's effect goes far beyond the theories of aliens, etc. I think the more assertive this message becomes the more we will see this kind of dialog which is also verifiable. I think the interrelated nature of reality underneath the surface of appearances is it's hallmark. This is much more profound than most recognize. Time will tell.
