You decide. Interesting though that like past life regression therapy which is used to treat some mental disorders and has positive results regardless of personal beliefs this is being adopted as a method by some psychiatrists.

Another thought...I wonder if there were NO mention whatsoever of demon possession and exorcism in the bible....would people still claim to be possessed??

I agree with the article, that it is indeed a minor exorcism to do the Lord's prayer, especially the words "deliver us from evil" have their effect.
I am not sure how one can catch a spirit. There must be more possibilities than the article mentions (like drinking much alcohol, negative emotions or the consume of non-medical drugs). That would be too easy.

I think things like this show just how complicated (and powerful) the human mind is . It can create all manner of beliefs and perhaps the quantum physicists are right about us co-creating our own realities.

Does co-creating reality imbue these entities and such a certain autonomy so that they can act beyond the dictates of the experiencers own mind. I've often wondered wether there might not be a halway point between all in the mind and seperate conscious entity , whereby our own minds act as a power source that enables rather than drives the phenomena. I'm not sure how this aplies to this thread exactly, or whether it can be used as a blanket explanation but there certainly seems to be instances where this would be a likely scenario.

What an excellent question and observation Roadghost,Dr.Wu? What do you think? Roadghost Ive been wondering this very thing when it comes to abductions,theres always an impossible element left as a sort of clue that its the work of something other than human or an 'alien',ok UPS is here gotta go.
