You have to go to your control panel that the host sent you Skep and turn them off there. I had to do the same thing, and sent them an email expressing how much I didn't like it.

good for you Skep,and they will go as far as we let them,putting ads inside our personal posts without our permission was tacky at best.Did you notice the huge increase in people visiting this board yesterday,I wonder if it had anything to do with that sneaky way to place ads,if so heres a little something for those responsible, Razz

I noticed the spike in visitors too, Carol. Perhaps the word "ufo" on other forums is underlined with a link to our site. That would be nice but I still hate the idea of them using our posts for advertisements. As far as I am concerned, my post is intellectual property belonging to me. To use something of mine to advertise without asking permission and without compensating me sounds down right illegal.

well if they try it again Skep,let me know and Ill bite em in the leg for ya..btw Skep,about that dvd do anything you want with it including keeping it,thats not working out is it,the business of doing a round robin with a dvd,seems by the time we all get to send and receive it and watch it weve moved on to different subjects.But if anyone wants to still see that Billie Mieres dvd drop Skep a pm with an address you want it sent to. I dont really want it back Skep,keep it darlin its yours.
