Seems like we are getting eerily close to doing what Dr. Frankenstein was trying to do - reanimate dead tissue. I can understand the medical uses of this but it still seems a little bizarre for my tastes. So are we on the verge of treading on God's turf here? Confused

I think it's great; ..the more we can learn about biology the more we can help sick people. The problem is not the science but that we use it wisely.

That's a fascinating article. First we cloned a sheep and now we can regenerate hearts....wow.

and that sheep Dolly died prematurly.She developed arthritis early and showed signs of being a much older animal than she actually was.If you clone with a four year old sheep the cloned sheep inherits all the maladys the original sheep was getting due to aging.

Yes, but the fact remains that we CAN create life. We are making progress and that is what's important.
I'm sure we still have a long ways to go but with all the new discoveries using stem cells, we seem to be on the right path.
