Well, it has been suggested to me by my darling daughters, Skeppianne and Skepilina, the the forum's hard disk crash was caused by my photo. At the risk of derailing Western Civilization again, I am reposting it.
Hope all of you will post a picture as well. BTW, if you are looking for a place to park photos you want to post on the Internet, may I suggest photobucket.com? It's free and very reliable.

I will try to offset the bad ju-ju of my pic with the positive vibes from TheScamDetective. Here's Dee's lovely photo:

Here's my growing-fatter-by-the-second pic hot off the press from Culture of Contact. Melissa Reed, the artist/curator for the event, is in the foreground. _________________ http://www.cultureofcontact.com is LAUNCHED!

Oops and sorry, my pic came up in the original format and I have no idea how to size it in, except going through the instructions for use of my photo-programme. ( I hate it to bother with this kind of instructions.) ...

Be happy to, if i can. Do you have a scanner? The whole process is one of transferring the pic into the next needed format. The scanner takes a standard, physical, old style pic and turns it into a digital file which you place in My Pictures (a program that comes with Windows) by following very simple directions as you go. Then you need an account with an online image hosting website. I recommend Photo Bucket (but there are many others):
http://photobucket.com/
An image hosting website is what it sounds like , a website that allows you to store still pics and videos in your 'album'.
Photobucket has a one click feature that pulls up your My Pictures Windows file in a separate window, and then you upload pics to photobucket, again, using not too difficult directions. Now it's a simple matter of clicking the img box below the uploaded pic as now listed in your photobucket album which automatically copies it for transferal to Dept 47 where you paste it into your post and voila!
Don't know your computer skill set, but would be happy to walk you through it step by step. I could barely do more than type and hit 'send' when I fumbled through it myself. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde

Happy to help.
If you have a digital camera (or access to one), you can take its SD card (stores the digital photos) and plug it into your computer (if so equipped) to upload pics to My Pictures, then on to Photobucket, then to Dept 47. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde
