Phil - I saw this video a while back and I think this is just an effect of multiple satellite photos being composited together to form a mosaic. Most likely, the orangish image was taken closer to sunset or sunrise and just shows the sky reflecting off the ice. I don't think it's anything mysterious.

Yes I think the picture is perhaps either the result of a lens clening operation by the sattelite or a signal distortion mixed with another signal at the processing station. The orange-yellow colour in the picture looks unatural and the black object to the south is obviously a gap in the picture and not an item on the ground. If anyone reading this lives nearby the location please take a picture of the object, you cannot miss it, it is 50 miles long and perhaps 200 feet high. Tee hee.
Someone posted this link at Ufoevidence, it says the picture is artificial. I have not read the article as the library computer I am currently using will not open the Jeff Rense website.
