Jeremy has an article in the current UFO Magazine in which he quotes Nick Pope as saying that crop circles are a con and he knows it for a fact 'cause he went out with the makers to watch them do them.
Any comments from the crop circle believers..?

Will, PDFs often lock your computer while they load but it's not the link, it's the nature of PDF. The magic of Adobe!
Dr. Wu, but he also said that even the circle makers claim that they see balls of light maneuvering in the fields with them.

I don't recall details but he claims he knows this for a fact since he spent time with the makers. Jeremy might know more details and he's right that some makers from time to time see balls of light when they are out making circles. This has been mentioned in the past in interviews with some of the circle makers. It is also true that some people have speculated that perhaps 'something' is influencing these makers to do the complex designs. Of course there is no way to demonstrate this but it makes for an intriguing idea.
I'm 99.9% convinced that all of the crop circle designs from the beginning have been done by people but I do leave some room for natural phenomena (like plasma or atmospheric events) creating the very basic circles that have appeared in the past.
