Classic case, Valdehijaderos persecution 1974

Location. Near Valdehijaderos Spain
Date: March 21 1974 Time: 0215A
Truck driver Maximiliano Iglesias Sanchez, 21, was driving to Algunilla when he encountered a blinding white light on the road; at 200 meters distance, his lights and diesel engine went out. The UFO, now only faintly luminous, was wider than the road, metallic, without visible openings, and standing on three half-meter legs. Another object, non-luminous and to the right, hovered about 16 meters above the ground. Two beings appeared in front of the landed object gesturing with their arms; one went around the side of the object and returned, and then both figures vanished to the right and the object ascended with a humming sound. The figures were human like, 6 feet tall, wearing close fitting coverall type garments of metallic hue and they walked and moved normally. The witness was unable to see any facial features. After he passed the site he looked back and saw that one object had re-landed on the road.

Mr. Sanchez had a second encounter less than 24 hours later near the same site. Driving the same truck, he found 3 “ships” on the ground, and again his motor and lights malfunctioned. As before there were no openings in the UFO but he saw four “men” approaching him on the road. He got out and ran, and the figures pursued him; after running nearly 2 km., he threw himself into an irrigation ditch and hid as the 4 men searched the area, but they did not see him. After awhile he returned to his truck; the 3 objects were still there, but his engine would not start. When he closed the cab door the figures re-appeared, gesturing to each other; they went around the object and disappeared and it rose slowly with a humming or whistling sound. The truck then started normally. After passing the site, the witness saw that the 3rd object had again landed and he stopped and returned on foot; hidden about 9 meters distance, he saw the figures digging at the roadside with a T-shaped implement and a large horseshoe shaped tool. He could still make out no facial features. After 3 minutes he left. A few days later UFO investigators found radioactive traces and 3 12 meters circles of crushed down grass in the area. Civil guard officers also found traces.

Now I ask this question: Why were no so-called "grays" reported during the 50's, 60' and 70's? are they a new species? if not they are definately late comers into the field of Ufology. This type of "UFO occupant" became popular soon after the movies Close Encounters and more after ET, also several popular authors and books brought these creatures into Focus in the early 80's, but UFO occupants were not always of the gray variety, a study of the 1954 UFO/occupant wave and of occupant cases reported in South America from 1950 to 1968 fail to show a single case which describes a "gray".

The aliens reported to have crashed at Roswell in 1947, were grays.
I don't know enough about South American sightings to comment on when the grays showed up there.

It would be very interesting to know when the first stories about Roswell actually surfaced. I simply do not remember reading much of anything about the case at all prior to the Bill Moore/Charles Berlitz book in 1979.

I read quite few of the early 1950s and 1960s books and apparently no alleged Roswell witness ever came forward with their story for more than 30 years. You'd think if there was anything remotely weird, Keel, Frank Edwards or even Vallee would have picked up on it. Seems to me, no one had any interest in telling their tale until money entered into the equation.

It would also be interesting to ask Steven Spielberg who originated the design for the aliens in 1977's CE3K. Seems to me, you never heard much about these spindly little creatures until that movie very effectively planted their image into the popular culture.

I don't know what the state of the media was like in 1947 but there were newspaper articles about it...at least in the local area.
Add to that the reported "cover up" by the military and perhaps thats why so little was known at the time.
Seems to me IF the witnesses and locals who saw and knew things firsthand were out to make a buck...THEY would have brought it to the attention of the outside world...but they didn't do that. Most of them have stated that they were warned NOT to go public and they heeded that warning.

Recent sketches about the Roswell "aliens" depict them as short large headed but with more human like features not the stereotyped gray of today's commercials and movies. I am not saying that there are no grays, but there are others ....

Garuda,I read an interesting piece once Iv never forgotton.Someone speculated that the so called grays arent the 'real' aliens at all.There clones of some sort,maybe there used instead of the real ones in order to protect the real ones from ever being captured and interrogated or waterboarded Crying or Very sad

An autopsie revealed that these grays have no reproductive organs and are basically a sterile whichamacallit. Now I hope that was helpful.

Carol I have heard of this before also!.. Indeed I know of some abductees (some in Puerto Rico) which claim that some of the human-like entities have told them that the grays were non-living organisms or androids created by them for certain purposes, however there were other races of beings from other "realms" which indeed resemble gray like humanoids. some of these are said to come from "dying" civilizations.

If you guy's notice about all of OUR advanced android's in imagining and fiction resemble "us". It is more than likely if not probable imo that the same would be true for an ET species sending out android substitutes.

and havent you both read in Waltons story that when he became hysterical (who wouldnt) all of a sudden some very 'human' looking beings walked in the room and if I recall its the last thing he remembered before he woke up by the roadside,wheres Dr.Wu,Dr.Wu havent you read in all your reading that 'human'looking beings often accompany the grays? Ive thought that the reason they appear at all is when the abductee has reached a level of hysteria whereby there presence is required before the abductee either goes completely out of his/her mind or has a heart attack.

People have reported seeing human like beings and/or Nordics with greys.
Strieber has claimed this in his books. He tells of one abduction event where he was taken to a normal room one might find in a house with a taller grey behind the desk. Standing to the side were a tall blond Nordic man and a shorter human female in a lab coat like a doctor might wear. Strieber had brought his cat with him and the grey asked him why. Strieber said he felt it wouild ground him to the surreality of these meetings. The grey said, 'What can I help you with" ? Strieber said, "Can you help me be less afraid of you and these contacts"? The grey said, "We'll try but it will be hard." (my quotes are not perfect but close enough to get the idea of the conversation)

In the older contact cases all the aliens were usually Nordics or humanoid looking aliens. The greys are indeed a recent phenomenon ; even though some claim they were seen in the past its not clear if the appearances were that close to what we call greys today.
BTW, Strieber has a new 'fiction' book out called 2012:The War for Souls. In it he claims the greys or others (i'm not sure who) are after our 'souls'. This is similar to what that other author/ufo theorist wrote a year or two ago. I cannot recall his name right now but Isis and a few of us read his book and discussed it at the old boards.
I'm going to start a thread on this theme again of 'aliens' after our 'souls'.
