Faking Ufo's

I enjoy posting things like this for several reasons.

One of em is seeing who trots out "just because you can fake ufo's doesnt mean they all are!!", complete with caps excalmation marks and the like lol.

Simple answer is, duh. More expansive response is, if that is the only thing you take away from demonstrations such as this, no wonder ufology is so rife with just these kinds of photo's. What does it say, that so many average folks on the street were ready to accept em in a matter of minutes? What does it say when told these are fake, they immediately work to shore up the reasons for their belief? They don't express chagrin, or surprise, or ask for more info on what it's about. They dont allow doubt at all. No, they immediately defend the fact that they believe. Why would that be eh?

I also enjoy watching the obvious point being missed, ignored, or just outright denied.

Main point being, these photo's look EXACTLY as good as any available. To further demonstrate how ridiculous it is, children made these. You cannot tell which are "real", and which are not. Granted, no real analysis was performed, just a visual examination via photoshop by an experienced professional. But then again, how often do we get any real analysis of negatives, or original photo's? Seem familiar?

Regarding Jeremy, Mieirs, and the womens club...

Jeremy, has just as much proof as Mieiers, and of exactly the same quality. However, one thing he does not have.

Evidence of fraud. Which miyiers has in abundance.

Despite the extreme unlikelyhood of Jeremy ever having had any contact whatsoever with aliens of any sort, it is impossible to lable him a fraud or hoaxer with any certainty. Nor can we lable him delusional or mentaly unbalanced, without any medical support to do so. So, on that barest and slimmest or technicalities, we have, to not give Jeremy any definitive judgement, but allow the barest of doubt. My own opinion notwithstanding, we can't say Jeremy is fake.

Mieiers however, we most certainly can. It is not testimony to the strength of his claims, it is not indication of open mindedness on the part of supporters, it is not demonstrive of fair play for all, to continue allowing him any doubt. It is ridiculous blind credulity denying ones rationality the acceptance of the logical and the obvious. The man is a fraud, plain and simple. It's too close to home. Too important to the false self view, to admit error, to allow mistake. Why do you think you see folks looking for even the tiniest of possibilities when it comes to such plain fakes as Mieiers? The most common being, "that doesnt make all his pictures fake".

No, but it proves many are, and that it is too likely all are to consider ANY of them valid.

If a guy sells 10 bogus insurance policies, are you going to buy from him on the chance that not ALL of them are? Ah!! But theres the rub isn't it? THAT would cost you, that would have direct detrimental effect. THAT would hit your wallet.

In the case of Mieiers though, all it costs, is your respect for yourself.

It is high hiliarity, to have a guy for over 25 years peddle ridiculously obvious fake photo's as real, have one person after another uncover PROOF of fraud, deciet, and deliberate lies, then have folks argue he deserves ANY consideration at all.

Mieiers, Shermers demonstration, they both are examples of the same exact thing in action. Deliberate, willful ignorance.

It's a shame you've chosen this route Jeremy. Your intelligent, well spoken, talented even. The whole abduction shctick is whats going to limit you.

Chagrin?? Surprise?? Did you dazzle us with some new kind of info that we were not previously aware of???
Why would anyone who has an interest in ufology be surprised or chagrined to learn that ufo photos can be faked??
Just because YOUR opinion of the Meiers is that they are fake....doesn't mean we all have to gasp and agree with you!!
It also doesn't matter if you "reproduce" his photos...that would still not prove that HIS photos are all fakes...only yours.

I think I saw that you tube video clip on tv a while back and it shows how easy it is to fake ufo photos that can fool people...
but I have to say that it does not mean all ufo photos/sightings are fakes.

As far as Meier ,as I have said before, after reading the material, looking at all the pics, etc. ,I have to go with hoaxing in his case.
There are just too many questions and aspects surrounding his case that don't add up for me.
