Okay, I finally got my log in to work on the latest computer build.

Carol, I just got a copy of the Lorenzen's Flying Saucer Occupants, and it has much more detail on the Villas Boas case and the Hills than other books I'd read over the years. Once I finish reading it, perhaps a thread would be in order. At any rate, UFO shows on television are rather lame and generally rehash the same old mishegoss propagated by ETH believers for decades.

That's why it's worth it getting the earliest published accounts of a case, especially when later books just review the outlines of a case. How the story relates to "reality" is something that's open in my book. Though I tend towards the EDH, I fully recognize the value of the PSH and all that we can know in the final analysis is that UFO occupant cases parallel folklore.

The problem is the skeptics are more bothered by that than the ETH. Methinks that American Ufoology is in a rut where one is expected to be either a "bleever" or a "skepdick". When all is said and done, what remains and what is transmitted is the story.

Folklore happens.
