|
|
Per your suggestions, we have created this forum as a place where no-holds-barred debates on paranormal subjects can be hashed out. Do not post here unless you can stand-up to the response you may receive from those who do not agree with you!!! There will be very few rules and restrictions here but we do ask that you keep threads on-topic and clean. Management reserves the right to lock down a thread if it really goes on the rocks but warnings will be issued first.
We also reserve the right to change our minds about this in case it all devolves into a big ghastly mistake.
Good luck!

| beliver, like many skeptics he presented a front that said he was very skeptical of any and all sightings, but he staid in the field for decades,a dead giveaway.

I see. So believers are believers and skeptics are believers too. That must be a comfort to believers of the first order. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde

| Skeptics that stay with the subject for decades are believers that just need that extra nudge, like a flying saucer landing at the Superbowl. They want it handed to them in other words. What a waste of talent Klass was,I still believe that if he and a few other well known skeptics got together it wouldnt be scoff talk at all,but what the latest is and talk about the latests theories, those arent men that dont believe, there just men that want postive proof. And insist that the rest of the world demand the same thing. Well of course he was free to go that route ,but the ufo never did land at the superbowl or the white house lawn. More than likely they wont. But Klass could have devoted his time to where it is they actually parked.

Would you define "extra nudge" as incontrovertible physical evidence? Boy, these skeptics of yours sure are picky. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde

Yes, exactly. When one of these.........
.......lands on the White House lawn (the Pentagon will not suffice, nor the Capitol Building) I will consider it incontrovertible physical evidence. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde

Actually, I image-googled that for a gag. It sure does look like a '57 though.
I would also accept a '59 Buick Skylark convertible as incontrovertible physical evidence. _________________ I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde
