Skep????

I noticed that the quick reply box is missing from my screen now.
It was there earlier and now it isn't showing on any of the threads.
I also posted a reply to Dr Wu on the religion forum and it never showed up!!
Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just me??
I haven't changed any of my settings.

Hi Scammie - my fault on the momentary disappearance of the Quick Reply box. Embarassed

I inadvertently unchecked a a box on my admin screen and it dropped the Quick Reply option. It is back now, so you should be OK. As for the missing post, the hosting service has been working behind the scenes to migrate us to a new database. I had a similar problem with a missing post on Friday and I suspect we are just going to have to expect periodic glitches until they are done.

I'll knock on wood when I say this but I have been fairly pleased with the overall performance of the site. It is a little sluggish from time to time but I think this may have something to do with the database migration as well. Overall, however, for a free service, I think they are doing a pretty good job.

Thank you, skep. I am glad to know all is well and the quick reply box is back.
I agree that overall, we have a good site here.
