I just got this e-mail from the folks at the Center For Physical Trace Research. Doc, Rev - Tinley Park is in the Chicago area - let me know if you decide to go.

Ted Phillips will be speaking at this year's premier UFO symposium: Show Me the Evidence: The Science of Ufology on Sunday, August 17 in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Speakers include: Stanton T. Friedman, Sam Maranto, Donald Schmitt, and much more! Also, the SIU (Special Investigations Unit) will be present for questions and answers regarding ongoing research into ‘Marley Woods’ & 'Project Moonshaft'. Plus, Ted Phillips will be making a Huge Announcement.

Tinley Park is only 90 minutes from my house so that's easy for me ,....now I have to find someone to go with me.
I don't want to be seen alone at a ufo seminar.

Twenty bucks? Cripes they had some ufo conferences here in Ct.where it was $200.00 and you had to pay hotel fees on top of that.

I'd really like to go to this one but it's falls on back-to-college weekend and Dad has already been tapped to carry Skeppilina's frig back to the dorm. I may try to finagle something Doc so, if I can bail, I'll let you know. Maybe we can carpool that last stretch into Chicago.

Any symposium or conference that has Don Schmitt on the bill has no business equating itself with science in any way. Schmitt lied about his background to his own research partner, Kevin Randle - the fact that this man is still considered by many to be a legitimate researcher tells you everyhing you need to know about modern American ufology.
