gives an interview, she and Mulder are going to be in a new X-Files movie, the plot is supposed to be well guarded, but if you can glean anything at all from this trailer, its not exactly edge of your seat stuff.

Well, I'll remind ya ahead of time that Chris Carter always played on stuff from pop culture and scifi - conspiracy themes already embedded in the minds of many such indulger's. "The Thing", would be right up there on my list. Because I heard rumors about this crap long before it ever came of age. "Things" (here I go with a pun again) get real scary when life and art become reality in ones own psyche. Carter played on that and that is one of the reasons I liked his show. _________________ SOMNIUM MENS est IANUA ut INFINITIO

Gillian looks pretty good - not nearly enough good looking redheads in the movies these days.

I wonder whether the movie will make sense for people who never watched the X-Files. It's been several years since the show was on TV and there's almost an entire generation of kids who probably aren't that familiar with the whole mythos that the series built up. It's hard to craft a movie that will draw in new fans without boring all the old fans by rehashing what they know so well. Personally, I was never much of a fan of the TV series. It tended to be a little too gruesome for my tastes.

well believe it or not,Ive seen more X-Files in re-run than I did when the series was running,it just was on at the wrong time or we wernt home at all one thing or another, then a few years ago they started running all the re-runs and I actually saw more than when they were popular,I still love Mulder's lower lip.
BTW Will,Ive been meaning to ask you, whats the temps in Parumphs high dessert country now? Its been in the mid ninties here hot and humid, jess plain miserable,I loath the heat.

I was a big fan of the tv show but I'll wait to rent the dvd....any more I prefer watching films at home where I can have a beer or two and munch on chips.
