In case you haven't heard, comedian George Carlin has died of heart failure at the age of 71. For anyone growing up in the 1970s, George Carlin was more than just a comedian -- he was a pioneer. He pushed the social envelope, poked fun at some of the inexplicable things humans do - and he made us laugh while doing it. Here's his obit from BBC News:

Sorry to hear that,..... he was always one of my favorite comedians.

we had the pleasure of seeing this man in person at the Oakdale theater,you got the feeling even with his liberal use of his famous seven words that this was a gentle and decent man,I really really liked this guy.
