| well this got my attention right away,however the paper is saying this movie is going to be the end of this guy Shamala or whatever his name is. They didnt like it even a little bit,that might mean we would love it.

I've read some very negative reviews of it. Usually it wouldn';t put me off but everyone, even fans are saying it's a lousy movie. I've loved some of his films The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable (which is probably his best movie) and Signs, despite the flaws in the plot. I wanted this to be good but it's not looking promising so far. Pity as it's a fantastic idea for a film.

I think the idea is very intriguing......too bad it's getting bad reviews.

I've decided not to bother seeing this till it's out on dvd 
However, fanboy that I am, I was greatly cheered to read that the BBC are making an updated series of Survivors which was this fantastic post apocalyptic drama from the seventies set in a plague ravaged world, where a few thousand people were left trying to start some form of society again. Scared the crap out of me as a kid, hope it does it again.

They had a post-apocalypse show on Showtime here in the states called Jericho. It was pretty good but only lasted a few seasons.
