Okay boys and girls I'm back.
It may take me a few days to get back into the game, I am a little bit busy, but I will get back active eventually.
I lost about $130 bucks. But, it could be worse.
Vegas is an amazing place. Many good looking women , all taken . I was amazed how friendly the people are. Most big cities I go to, people are rude, disrespectful, etc. Not in Vegas, at least not what I found.
Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are amazing to see. If you see it on TV and think it is a site, you have to see it in person if you haven't. I wish I could have gone on a mule ride, but they were booked up well in advance. At least I got to go through the dam. _________________ http://www.ufoalley.net

Hey Revan, nice to see you back, yes the mule ride has a lot of appeal, however I suggest you watch the travel channel when they show the actual ride by mule back. Its harrowing to say the least, those mules go thru three years training before you ever get to ride one to the bottom of the canyon. My husband suggested we take a private plane into the canyon, sounds good eh? I will never ever forget the terror as your buffeted all over the place by updrafts, still the canyon is something that every american should see in there lifetime.Revan, did you get to see that glass house that juts out over the canyon?
This wasnt there when we were but I understand if youve got even a trace of vertigo to skip this one, have a look.

I have to check it out and I didn't see the glass house. Which side is it at? I was on the south side of the canyon.
Bare with me, I am having problems with my internet due to water in our lines. We just had another storm roll through last night and it made it worse. _________________ http://www.ufoalley.net

I understand they are in the process of building a new road so soon you will no longer be able to drive across the top of the Hoover Dam. I heard an interesting tidbit - there is so much concrete in Hoover Dam that it took decades for it to fully cure!

Yeah, the new road. I don't know how people can do it, standing on the dam and looking up at it. It is very, very high above the dam. They are currently building the arch over the canyon. Now sure how anyone can do it, they would have to have nerves of steel. They have to be paid well.
My internet server is currently down, I am using my grandparents internet server to get online. It maybe a while before I can come back. I am not sure how long it will take to fix it. _________________ http://www.ufoalley.net

I figured I'd turn this into a generic "ON VACATION" thread -- for selfish reasons, of course. I will be on vacation starting tomorrow, June 27th and I should be back on Sunday night, July 6th. I'm headed for the beach in North Carolina. I'll make sure to keep my eye open for those off-shore UFOs.
As usual, no wild parties while I'm gone - and make sure you put all the beer cans in the recycle bin.

Well, I'm back from the beach - had a wonderful time at Ocean Isle, North Carolina. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a laid-back place to forget about real life for a while.
Well, now it's back to the grind... but I guess it can wait... at least until tomorrow.
