That's sparked a nostalgia trip. I'm off to download Making Plans for Nigel and Generals and Majors from Limewire now.
That's not bad at all, is it a recent release? I reckon it could do well. _________________ Now we must praise the keeper of the heavenly kingdom

The work of the glory-father; as he, each of wonders,
the eternal Lord, established from the beginning.

No that one is from about 1992.. from a cd called Nonesuch.
They had a cd in 1989 called Oranges and Lemons that is very good. I like their later material better than the early stuff but I own all of them.

You're a very dedicated Wu, I didn't even know they were still together. The last one I can even recall was Senses Working Overtime (I think it;s called). _________________ Now we must praise the keeper of the heavenly kingdom

That's from 'English Settlement'...an excellent song, but imo 'Skylarking' and 'Oranges and Lemons' are their finest lps/cds.
Those two are the epitomy of erudite and witty pop rock. I'm a big fan but I have neevr seen them live since Andy Partridge doesn't tour live since 1979 due to stage fright. _________________ "Some say the valley has always been haunted ever since River ran.
