Here is a science item that, for me, was quite unexpected. Israeli scientists believe they have found a stable element even heavier than uranium:

I'm not sure what this means beyond the fact that the universe still holds some surprises for us. It is just such surprises that keep me coming back to this website everyday. One of these days...
