Disagreeing and Locked Threads

IMO, disagreeing is what good dicsussion is all about. It only becomes a problem when it gets personal.
If we all agreed on everything there would be nothing to discuss.

As far as locking a thread , I didn't see any real reason for it on the Fake Rapture thread but that's my opinion and I'm not the mod nor owner of the board.

I also think it's unfortunate that Somer and Isis are leaving over something so trivial. I urge them both to stick around . There are always other topics to talk about.

actually I was just about going to bed, because I am terribly tired. Where did you take it from, that I was gone?

The particular thread has been moderated back to the topic - I have nothing to complain about anymore - and I have no desire to comment and reply to redundant posts that were written for the purpose of baiting only. Carol should start a new thread about the article she had posted yesterday, and that I was just going to comment or Skep maybe unlocks the thread again.

After having thought about it, I have unlocked the Fake Rapture Thread. I will leave the Bill Meier thread locked. If Michael wants to start a new one, that is fine by me.

I agree with Doc that disagreement is what makes this place fun. However, I hope we can remember that we are all here for the same purpose - to find answers. We can't do that alone - we need to do it together.
