4000 posts!

In the past day, Department 47 registered its 4000th post. Not bad for a 4-month-old upstart. Thanks to Carol, Scam, Isis, Wu, Somer and all our other founding mothers and fathers who helped get this venture off the ground. Thanks too to all the wonderful people who have joined us since then. Your wide range of insights and opinions, intelligently stated, are rapidly making this one of the premiere UFO/paranormal discussion sites on the web.

There are donuts in the coffee-break room. Help yourself and, by all means, give yourself a pat on the back! Wink

Skeptical.

Congratulations Skeptical, you dreamed of owning a first class website and I think you have more than succeeded, there are some very impressive people listed here, such as film producers etc. I myself have learned that because I am not what you would call a researcher, ie someone who studies case files and current knowledge to a deep level, I cannot therefore take part in complex debates. For example I was impressed recently by Ataraxik`s level of knowledge displayed in a recent post, someone had stated that whistleblowers of highly classified information are a myth but Ataraxik was able to quote examples of how information concerning the president were comprimised. Most average people such as myself, who have not done the studying, would have leaned towards whistleblowers being a myth and this example highlights the importance of studying.

All is not lost for me though, I still have hypnosis and a body scan to undergo and I am going to seek help from a local paranormal group here in Cambridge, I can obviously write about the results. I should like to apologise for my recent bad langauage behaviour, it is rare behaviour for me, I behave like a little creep sometimes, well you knew that already. Anyway Carol Nistri and Ataraxik, if you would accept my apology for my bad language I would be grateful, if you cannot do this well keep up the good work as you have made a fine website in Department47.

dont you worry about a little bad language,its the natue of the game here.I dream of a board where we can all come together with all sorts of different opinions that go all over the lot,were getting there little by little,its such a pleasure to bring people together that remember what it was like to show others a little respect and patience,now you git yourself back on in here and dont sweat the small stuff. By the way,where is Atar?
